WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

Contentment.jpg

WEDNESDAYS | SEPT 25–NOV 20 | 12PM IN FAMILY LIFE CENTER | 7PM IN ROOM 315

Join us for our new study on Contentment by Melissa Kruger.

Many Christians struggle with comparison, covetousness, and complaining. But the Apostle Paul was content in plenty and in want. What was Paul’s secret, and how do we cultivate contentment in our lives?

This study considers what it really means to be content – to place our trust in our good and sovereign God. God’s love for His people is unchanging, and He is using every detail of our lives to shape and fashion us into the image of Jesus Christ. As we look back to the cross of Christ and look forward to the hope of heaven, we will discover that ultimate contentment is found in Him.

For more information, please contact DeAnn Ince (12PM study) or Doreen Philbin (7PM study).

THIRD THURSDAYS | 7PM | LOCATION VARIES

Are you struggling to plug in and find your place in our pews? Do you sometimes feel yourself swimming against the mainstream of conventional church culture? Not currently in one of our Wednesday Women's Bible Studies? Longing to leave your "church mask" at home and connect over the uncorked in an intimate community of authentic and honest relationships?

Then join us for Women, Wit, Wine and Wisdom!
An alternative approach to women and The Word

Women:  Ladies looking to connect in a Christian community of the unconventional
Wit:  With inventiveness, intelligence, heart and humor
Wine:  We'll taste, talk about and try a different type of wine each month
Wisdom:  Wine is mentioned over 200 times in the Bible. We'll discuss and reflect on those readings in addition to sharing a bottle, little bites and a bit of ourselves.

Please RSVP to womenwitwineandwisdom@gmail.com for location information. The cost is $5.
