WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES
WEDNESDAYS | 12PM | ROOM 310
Explore the lives of Joseph, Zechariah, John the Baptist, Elizabeth, James, and Mary. Through Scripture and storytelling, Karen Kingsbury uniquely brings Jesus' family alive. Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to grow up in Jesus' home? In His community? What were His siblings and family members like? What traditions did the family observe? Everyone has a story, including the family of Jesus.
WEDNESDAYS | 7PM | CHURCH LIBRARY
Live the theology you believe! Many of us understand faith intellectually, but our hearts are not quite in line with our heads. The book Sonship is designed to help you take the “truths you may know in your head” and apply them to the reality of daily life. You’ll find that as the Gospel remakes you, there is a greater joy and desire to share the wonderful news of God’s lovingkindness with others. Please note, this is a discipleship course, not simply a Bible study. Participants should be ready to dive deep into their relationship with the Lord. Be prepared for weekly homework and in-depth study. This course may run through most of the school year, but we’ll choose a pace that lets everyone keep up and finish strong!
Cost of materials: $30
For more information or to register, please email Doreen Philbin or call her at (310) 809-7507.
THIRD THURSDAYS | 7PM | TAPAS & VINO
Are you struggling to plug in and find your place in our pews? Do you sometimes feel yourself swimming against the mainstream of conventional church culture? Not currently in one of our Wednesday Women's Bible Studies? Longing to leave your "church mask" at home and connect over the uncorked in an intimate community of authentic and honest relationships?
Then join us for Women, Wit, Wine and Wisdom!
An alternative approach to women and The Word
Women: Ladies looking to connect in a Christian community of the unconventional
Wit: With inventiveness, intelligence, heart and humor

Wisdom: Wine is mentioned over 200 times in the Bible. We'll discuss and reflect on those readings in addition to sharing a bottle, little bites and a bit of ourselves.
