Jim is the Perspectives Extension Supervisor for the Perspectives Coordinators throughout Central and Southern California, Arizona and Nevada. He trains and works with Coordinators from start to finish of their classes. Jim puts on a number of Perspectives Coordinator Workshops a year in which students are trained to become Coordinators for the Perspectives Study Program. Jim has been at the U.S. Center for World Mission for over 13 years.
To date there have been over 83,000 students (over 7,000 a year) who have taken Perspectives in North America alone. About 10% of the students who take Perspectives become long-term missionaries. Many of the other 90% support and pray for missionaries and get involved with their church missions program. Perspectives is really starting to grow in other countries as well (many Latin American countries, Australia, Nigeria, South Africa, India, South Korea, Russia); the curriculum has recently been translated into Chinese. Praise God for what He is doing in redeeming the nations and for the effectiveness of the Perspectives Study Program.
