For the Whole Family

Sunday Morning Classes

Sunday morning classes are an opportunity to go broader and deeper into Scripture, to learn more and grow in the wisdom of God’s Word. These classes are offered in our Family Life Center during both worship hours to allow you to attend both worship and class. Topics change each quarter.

Home Groups

When does your faith change your daily living? For many of us the pressures of life can wear away at Jesus’ teaching and deprive us of strength and joy. Home groups are an opportunity to form relationships with other brothers and sisters in Christ, who can uniquely bless and support us. Home groups range from eight to sixteen people and meet weekly or bi-weekly. Groups may be common in life season but others are also a mixture of generations. Together you’ll study God’s Word and use other resources to mature as a follower of Jesus.

Family Camp

Every August St. Andrew’s hosts a family camp where parents and their children can relax, enjoy time together, and learn about growing together in Christ. All meals are prepared by camp staff and accommodations include married couple and group cabins. Kids are encouraged to bring bicycles and games. A guest speaker hosts a daily morning teaching session which is followed by small group time to learn applications with each other. Family camp typically runs from a Sunday   evening through Friday morning. Look for sign-ups in February that fill quickly.

St. Andrew’s Light Theater welcomes children from the ages of five and up and adults of all ages to experience the kingdom of God and to build relationships with followers of Jesus. This outreach ministry brings together those gifted in the performing arts to glorify God. Musical productions are cast, directed, staged, and performed in the St. Andrew’s Fellowship Hall. Cast members are invited from the congregation as well our broader community. SALT is a wonderful way to enjoy working with others in order to pull off something surprisingly entertaining and joyful.

All-Church Picnic

The South Bay cities enjoy beautiful weather and parks that are perfect for casually gathering our church family to enjoy. These picnics are arranged so that participants can bring food and games and enjoy an afternoon together. All ages are welcome to join the fun, from table Scrabble to field games. Lounging in the shade together with others is also a favorite activity!
