The traditional worship service begins each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and features music by our Chancel Choir. Younger families fill the sanctuary and Sunday school during the 10:00 a.m. contemporary worship service, with music by our Praise Team. Wednesday evening worship, know as Pipeline, is attended by our high school and junior high students. Current adult membership is approximately 600. Adult Bible studies are conducted during both services, and there are many opportunities for Bible study and fellowship during the week. Our most popular small group ministry is our Home Groups. We currently have 15 Home Groups, each consisting of approximately 10 adults that meet regularly in homes for prayer and Bible study. In 2002, the Reverend Bill Steel joined St. Andrew’s as a parish associate. Under his guidance, a wonderful “50 Plus” ministry has developed at St. Andrew’s. The 50 Plus ministry includes many opportunities for prayer, fellowship, Bible study, outreach and service to our local community. The fellowship of this group has literally spanned the globe as they have taken cruises together. The youth of St. Andrew’s are actively involved in local outreach to their peers, short-term foreign ministries, Bible studies, a youth choir, the Wednesday night Pipeline worship and helping with ministry needs within the congregation. We also have a vibrant children’s ministry, which includes Sunday school (know as “Bible Adventures”) and Vacation Bible Camp. |
