New ‘Healing’ HOME Group
A group is beginning for those who want to learn and practice God’s Word regarding healing today. Expect opportunities to practice praying for others who are hurting, as well as praying for our immediate families and the larger family of God.

Comments: Our home group meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Our meetings usually include eating a meal together. We rotate homes to meet in, and also occasionally meet for brunch at a nearby restaurant.

Comments: Our group shares the facilitator role at each of our meetings.   Having a different "facilitator" each meeting takes the pressure off a leader and still allows our group to dig into God's word.  Each family in our group coordinates their own childcare.  We are currently studying Isaiah using Navpress’ Lifechange study guide.

Comments: Our Group meets at individual member’s homes.    We typically use a study guide for specific books of the Bible and take turns facilitating each week the chapters in the Study Guide.   We also rotate responsibilities for providing dessert for each meeting.  We typically take summer months off and will plan a few social events such as bowling, a movie or dining out during that time.

Comments: Our group meets in Georgiana's home.  We have previously studied individual books of the Bible as well as we've done Max Lucado Bible Studies (currently James) and Women of the Word Bible Studies. We have a heavy concentration on prayer in our group. We take turns providing dessert for the evening and Georgiana provides coffee and tea. We try to be consistent with our meetings all during the year and generally for December we will skip our regular meeting and go out for a nice dinner or a brunch together.
