Summer Worship Service

29 04 2009
Summer Worship Service at 9:30am

During the summer months, St. Andrew’s combines our worship into one united service.  These blended services are unique and contain multiple aspects of both our traditional and contemporary worship … all giving glory to God.

In 2009, we plan to begin our summer worship services on Sunday, June 28th as we welcome back our ACTS Choir from their tour with a welcome home concert.  The one, united worship service will continue each Sunday through September 6, 2009.

Our summer worship starts at 9:30am each Sunday … so plan to join us!

Project Joy

23 04 2009

canned-goodsProject Joy recently received food donations of approximately 1,000 cans, which were collected by Scout Troop 996, and approximately 2,500 cans from the South Torrance High School can drive.  We very much appreciate the work of these organizations to gather these cans and the efforts of Kevin and Gloria Steck (scout leaders) and Russ and Erin Hamilton (South High), who arranged for the donations to be given to Project Joy.

In addition, Project Joy would like to thank the entire team of people to help collect, sort, box and store these canned food supplies.  On behalf of the needy who will benefit from your efforts, THANK YOU ALL!

Please Help the Needy by Donating canned food, clothing and toiletry items to Project Joy.  St. Andrew’s provides a Donation Bin on the Church grounds to make it easy for you to Give Joyfully.  Please ask someone in the church office to help you locate the Donation Bin if needed and donation receipts are also available in the church office.
